Original Concept: In essense, the map is pretty much high vs. low. That's not to say it's a bad thing, as the way cliffs and pathways are set up, it offers some nice strategy.
15/20

Balance: Resources are all positioned in a near-mirror, and both bases have ample room. The attack pathways are pretty much shared, so no side has any advantage over the other.
15/15

Eye Candy: This map is a looker. Even from the preview, you can tell. The layout is simple, yet still elegant. The cliffs are a thing of sheer beauty. The textures are used to near-perfection. Rocks and trees round out the map for an excellence I haven't seen in a while. The lake area does feel a little bland though.
26/30

Fun Factor: This is a VERY enjoyable map. Although there could be some more resources to fight over, there's still enough things to do for a nice battle. There's room to set up small side bases if your main one is overrun. You can flank, dodge, whatever.
17/20

Scripts/AI: There are no scripts that I can see. The AI is functional.

Concept: 15/20
At first glance wide-open, but the terrain is there and "reading" it presents an interesting challenge for the player. The... "thing" in the middle is a little bizzare, but I'm just guessing that the map's name somehow explains it. Good layout for a tournament-style map that discourages turtling. Somewhat overly spartan in the doodads department, with only a couple of garrisonables in an out-of-the-way location that barely looks over the left cliff pass. It feels weird somehow, but I still find myself liking it for daring to be assymetrical and realistic - it's a hilly wasteland.
Balance: 9/15
The scales are weighted against the top-left player unless he is USA as his expansion supply pile cannot have a stash/depot built next to it, making it a long trip to get the supplies for trucks or workers. This issue disqualifies it as a genuine tourney map.
Eyecandy: 25/30
Soft rolling hills look great, and the cliff face looks natural. The structure in the centre is bizzare, but it still manages to fit in with the theme. There's nothing *wrong* with the looks of the map, it's just that there's nothing outstanding about it.
Fun Factor: 9/20
Has promise for some interesting strategies against human opponents. Absence of terrain features means the emphasis is clearly on mobile combat. Would be a hell of a lot more fun if the AI could play on it. Unfortunately, the impassable areas are *extremely* poorly marked, and this causes *intense* slowdown with the AI. I took two minutes to properly paint the impassable areas, and the AI played well with no pathfinding slowdowns. This mistake is just plain sloppy.
A.I.: 0/10
Forget about playing with the AI on this as-is. The poorly-painted impassables cause *intense* slowdowns once the AI gets a unit or two out. The map-maker could not possibly have tested this for more than 10 minutes against a Hard AI.
Scripts: 0/5
No scripts to speak of.

Overall: 58/100

Would be a contender if it weren't for the impassable-terrain painting issue.

Very interesting layout, looks very natural. This map has a nice amount of detail, however not overdone. Texturing is excellent, the lighting also fits the map very well. AI setup is extremely well done, the AI performs really great. Only two 3-way blends on this map, that is an accomplishment in its own right. Overall an excellent, high quality map.
